Control the Final Inches of Front Suspension Travel
As you increase the suspension travel and off-road capability of a 1980–1996 Ford Bronco, controlling the end of the suspension’s up-travel becomes increasingly important. Hard bottom-outs can send a significant impact through the shocks, suspension components, and chassis.
That’s why we designed our Ford Bronco Front Hydraulic Bump Stop Mounts.
Instead of relying on a factory-style rubber bump stop to abruptly stop the suspension, these mounts allow you to run 2×2 King hydraulic bump stops to progressively control the final portion of suspension compression. This helps soften hard bottom-outs and reduce impact loads transferred through the front suspension.
Bolt-On Bump Stop Mounting
The mounts are designed around the Bronco frame and use existing factory frame holes for installation, eliminating the need to weld the bump stop mounts directly to the frame.
They are designed specifically for Broncos equipped with Solo Motorsports Radius Arms and work with our Stage 3 and Stage 4 front suspension systems.
The positioning allows the system to work with stock front fenders and 35″ tires while properly locating the bump stops over the Solo radius arms.
For a complete suspension setup, pair the front mounts with our 1980–1996 Ford Bronco Rear Hydraulic Bump Stop Mounts to provide controlled bump-stop engagement at both ends of the vehicle.
