Control the Final Inches of Rear Suspension Travel
As rear suspension travel increases, properly controlling the end of the suspension’s up-travel becomes increasingly important. Hard bottom-outs can send a significant impact through the axle, shocks, suspension components, and chassis.
That’s why we designed our 1980–1996 Ford Bronco Rear Hydraulic Bump Stop Mounts.
These mounts allow you to run King 2×2 Shorty hydraulic bump stops to progressively control the final portion of rear suspension compression. Instead of allowing the suspension to come to an abrupt stop at full bump, the hydraulic bump stops help absorb energy as the axle approaches the end of its up-travel.
Designed Around the Bronco Frame
Mounting hydraulic bump stops correctly requires more than simply welding a pair of cans to the frame. Position and packaging matter.
We designed these mounts specifically around the 1980–1996 Bronco chassis and use existing factory frame holes to locate the mounts. This takes the guesswork out of positioning the bump stops inside the rear frame rails while keeping welding and frame preparation to a minimum.
The compact mounting position also allows the system to work with factory steel quarter panels.
These rear bump stop mounts complement our Stage 2 and Stage 4 Bronco suspension systems and can be paired with our Front Hydraulic Bump Stop Mounts for controlled bump-stop engagement at both ends of the Bronco.
Built for Broncos that use their suspension travel.

Installation
The mounts use existing factory frame holes for proper positioning inside the rear frame rails, taking the guesswork out of locating the bump stops.
Welding is required, but the design minimizes the amount of welding and frame preparation necessary for installation.

Hydraulic bump stops are not included unless selected as an optional add-on.
