Our 15″ Wheel Big Brake Kit for the 1980-1996 Ford Bronco & F-150 allows you to keep your stock 15″ wheels and uses 6 Piston Wilwood Calipers. This is kit is based off our other 17″ Wheel Big Brake Kit that we use for our race truck. This is not your average brake upgrade, this is designed for Race or serious Prerunner applications and will make your truck stop on a dime!
Key Features:
- Wilwood’s newest DynaPro DP6A Calipers combine pure-bred racing technology with contemporary design to deliver superior braking. This newest model in the DynaPro series features a reinforced triple bridge construction, with five high strength steel bridge bolts, making it the strongest and stiffest DP6 caliper ever built. Made from a High-strength forged aluminum body in a Black Powder Coat finish. The DynaPro Calipers are designed to be very ridged and do not flex compared to the smaller Wilwood Superlite Calipers.
- Wilwood Ultralite HPS 32 Vane Rotors are .81″ Width x 12.19″ Diameter. Manufactured from a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. The formulation for this alloy is a derivative of technology and materials that are significant in the development of the extreme duty military spec rotors. These are a 2 piece bolt-on design rotor, which make for easy maintenance. Meaning, to remove the rotor you unbolt it from the Wilwood hub adapter, you are not required to press out any wheel studs like the factory style rotor. This design preserves the longevity of the hub and wheel studs.
- Our Brake Caliper Adapter and Wilwood’s Rotor Adapter makes this kit a 100% bolt-on, no welding required.
Disclaimer: Some 15″ wheels may need a 3/16″ wheel spacer or larger. Example, the Ford “Mod” wheel will require a 3/16″ wheel spacer.

Spec Requirements
- Wheel Requirement: 15″ wheel minimumÂ
- Remove/cutting off the factory brake mounts on the knuckle.
- Works with Stock wheel studs or 5/8″ wheel studs.

Optional:
- Driver/Pass Modified Knuckles $400.
Modifying the knuckles are easy enough for a DIY’er with a angle grinder and cut off wheel. Or a local fab shop can do the work very easily. If you would like us to do the modification, you can ship us your knuckles and we can do the work. We can send a shipping label to make the process hassle free. (you will need to provide us box dimensions).
