1966–1977 Ford Bronco Extended Radius Arm Kit

$1,875.00

Increase front suspension articulation with our 1966–1977 Ford Bronco Extended Radius Arm Kit. Built 10.5″ longer than stock with 5° of caster added, massive 2″ x .250-wall DOM tubing, .188″ steel reinforcement, 1-1/4″ FK heims, and 1/4″ plate pivot boxes. Designed to clear the frame at full bump and provide a larger suspension travel arc for lifted and off-road Early Broncos. Made in the USA.

Description

More Articulation with Better Radius Arm Geometry

The factory radius arms on a 1966–1977 Ford Bronco are short, which forces the front axle to travel through a relatively tight arc as the suspension cycles. When you’re building an Early Bronco for more suspension travel and better off-road performance, the factory radius arm geometry becomes a limitation.

That’s why we built our Early Bronco Extended Radius Arms 10.5″ longer than stock.

The additional length allows the front axle to travel through a larger arc as the suspension cycles, improving articulation and creating smoother suspension movement through rough terrain. We also designed the arms to provide frame clearance at full bump, allowing the suspension to use its available travel without the radius arms becoming the limiting factor.

Built for Hard Off-Road Use

Strength was just as important as geometry.

The main structure of each radius arm is fabricated from massive 2″ x .250-wall DOM tubing and reinforced with .188″ 1020 CR steel plate. At the frame end, a 1-1/4″ FK heim joint connects the radius arm to our fabricated 1/4″ steel pivot box.

At the axle, we reuse the original Ford radius arm “C” ends to retain the factory-style connection to the front axle.

We also build 5° of caster into the radius arms to help correct caster on Early Broncos running suspension lift kits.

The result is a heavy-duty radius arm system designed around increased articulation, improved suspension geometry, and the strength required for serious off-road use.

Made in the USA.
