Description
Race Suspension for the Toyota FJ Cruiser
For FJ Cruiser builds where maximum front suspension travel and high-speed off-road performance are the priority, the Solo Motorsports XLT Race Suspension Kit takes front suspension performance far beyond a conventional long-travel system.
Designed for the 2007–2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, our XLT (Xtreme Long Travel) system increases front track width 4.5″ per side and provides approximately 18–19″ of usable front wheel travel.
Built as a Complete Race Suspension System
The XLT Race Suspension Kit combines boxed upper and lower control arms, fully fabricated spindles, 1″ uniballs, heim steering, and Dana 44 hub components into a complete front suspension system designed for serious off-road use.
The upper control arms use FK 7/8″ heim joints for precise camber adjustment. Fully fabricated spindles use vertically mounted 1″ uniballs to help reduce binding at full droop, while the lower control arms replace the factory lower ball joint with a 1″ uniball mounted in a 4130 chromoly cup.
A machined heim steering system with clevises accommodates the increased track width and suspension travel while helping correct bump steer.
The system is designed around 2.5″ x 10″ coilovers and 2.5″ x 10″ 3-tube bypass shocks, with 3.0″ bypass shocks also available. A custom shock tower is required to properly position the coilover and bypass shocks.
Fiberglass fenders, sheet-metal modifications, and experienced professional installation are required.
Made in the USA.
