Description
Race Suspension for the 1st Gen Sequoia
For 1st Gen Sequoia builds where maximum front suspension travel and high-speed off-road performance are the priority, our standard long-travel system is only the beginning. The Solo Motorsports Race Suspension Kit takes the front suspension to the next level with our XLT (Xtreme Long Travel) system.
Designed for the 2000–2007 Toyota Sequoia, the XLT Race Kit increases front track width 4.5″ per side and provides approximately 17″ of fully functional 4WD wheel travel, with additional travel possible depending on vehicle setup and sheet-metal modifications.
Built as a Complete Race Suspension System
Unlike a basic long-travel control arm kit, the Solo XLT Race Kit is designed as a complete front suspension system. Boxed upper and lower control arms, fully fabricated spindles, 1″ uniballs, heim steering, and Dana 44 hub components work together to provide the strength and articulation required for serious off-road use.
The upper control arms use FK 7/8″ heim joints for camber adjustment, while the fully fabricated spindles use vertical 1″ uniballs to help reduce binding at full droop. The boxed lower control arms replace the factory lower ball joint with a 1″ uniball.
The steering system uses machined clevises, tie rods, and FK heim joints to accommodate the increased track width and suspension travel.
Designed around a 2.5″ x 10″ coilover and 10″ bypass shock, the XLT system also incorporates lower control arm strike pads for hydraulic bump stops.
This is a fabrication-intensive race-level suspension system intended for serious off-road builds. Fiberglass fenders, sheet-metal modifications, custom shock towers, and professional installation are required.
Made in the USA.

Installation Requirements
This is not a bolt-on suspension kit.
Installation requires professional fabrication, including custom shock towers and inner-fender sheet-metal modifications. Fiberglass fenders are required to accommodate the increased track width and suspension travel.
The suspension must be properly cycled during installation to verify shock travel, steering clearance, CV angles, tire clearance, bump-stop engagement, and limit-strap positioning.
Notes
Coilover Spring Weights: 500 lb / 700 lb
Sheet-metal modifications are required for maximum suspension up-travel.
