Mid-Travel Suspension for the 1st Gen Sequoia
The Solo Motorsports Mid-Travel Suspension Kit is designed for 2000–2007 Toyota Sequoia owners who want more front suspension performance without moving to a full long-travel system. It improves suspension travel and off-road performance while maintaining the factory track width.
The factory upper control arms can limit suspension travel as the vehicle is lifted. Therefore, our tubular upper control arms replace the factory upper ball joint with an FK 1″ uniball. The uniball provides more articulation and strength for off-road use.
Additionally, CNC-machined slug adapters press into the factory spindle. These adapters allow our 1″ uniball upper control arms to work with the factory spindle configuration.
More Travel Without the Extra Width
Depending on shock selection and vehicle setup, the Mid-Travel Suspension Kit provides approximately 1″ of additional front suspension travel and 1–3″ of front lift.
Because the suspension retains the factory track width, fiberglass fenders are not required. We recommend a 33″ tire for most setups.
The kit also gives you several shock options. Choose from King OEM Replacement Coilovers, Fox Factory Series Coilovers with DSC Adjusters, or Bilstein 6112 struts with new top hats. These are the same three shock choices you’re currently offering on the finished Tundra product.
For harder off-road use, we recommend adding our Upper Control Arm Double-Shear Kit. You can also upgrade the lower control arms, alignment cams, and other suspension components separately as your build progresses.
Overall, this kit gives your 1st Gen Sequoia a stronger and more capable front suspension without the width or fabrication required by long travel.
