Description
Easy Fuel Tank Access and Floor Repair for Classic Fords
Servicing an in-tank fuel pump on a Ford Bronco can become a much larger job when you have to lower the fuel tank just to reach the pump and sending unit. Our Ford Bronco & F-Series Gas Tank Access Cover provides a clean, durable solution while also serving as a useful floor repair panel for F-Series trucks.
On 1980–1996 Ford Broncos, the cover allows you to create a service opening in the rear floor above the fuel tank. Once installed, you can access the in-tank fuel pump, sending unit, and vent valve from inside the Bronco. As a result, future fuel-system service can be completed without dropping the fuel tank.
For 1980–1997 Ford F-Series trucks, the same stamped steel cover works as a clean repair panel for holes previously cut into the bed or floor. It’s especially useful for covering openings left behind after removing a gooseneck trailer hitch or similar equipment.
We designed the cover using 3D modeling and CAD for a clean fit. Then, we stamp each panel from 16-gauge steel for strength and durability.
Choose from a silver zinc-plated finish or black powder-coated finish. We also include rivets for installation. Alternatively, you can use sheet metal screws or Rivnuts if you want the cover to remain easily removable.
Made in the USA.
