Our HD Billet Steering Adjusters are what you need when upgrading your 1980-1996 Ford Bronco or F-150’s steering. Today’s wheel and tire combinations put some heavy stress loads on your steering linkage when you’re out in the desert or the rocks. It’s our opinion that using the factory steering adjusters when converting over to HD steering just doesn’t give enough thread engagement. These Billet Steering Adjusters are machined 1″ longer to get more thread engagement on the tie rod and drag/center links. Our Billet Steering Adjusters are not only machined to the correct length for safety and strength, but also add a bit of bling to your front suspension!
Our Billet Adjusters are made from 7075 aluminum. This grade of aluminum has excellent mechanical properties and exhibits high strength, toughness, and resistance to fatigue. It is one of the most commonly used aluminum alloys for highly stressed structural applications and has been extensively used in aircraft structural parts. Our HD Jam Nuts are made from 416 stainless steel. This material has excellent anti-galling properties, as well as rust prevention.
Disclaimer: If you have not converted your Bronco’s Steering Linkage to a HD Tie Rod Kit, the Billet Steering Adjusters will not work.Â
