Description
Our Rear Shock Mount for the 1966-1977 Early Bronco is the best way to fit a bigger shock for more wheel travel without sacrificing bed space.
We designed our Early Bronco Rear Shock Mount to be tucked up to the body as close a possible. This allows you to fit up to a 3.0×12″ Bypass or Smooth Body shock. These Shock Mounts are created from a combination of laser cut 1/4″, 3/16″ and 1/8″ steel plate. We’ve combined both MIG and TIG welding in order to speed the building process and still retain a unique look. The main cross tube is 1.75″ x.188 wall DOM, already has the upper shock mounts welded to it, and utilizes an inline tube clamp for ease of installation.
The only welding you have to do is weld the side plates to the frame and lower shock tabs to the axle housing!
This Rear Shock Mount can be used in conjunction with our Performance Leaf Spring Kit if you are looking to upgrade your stock shocks.
