Our Complete Rear Suspension Kit for the 1966-1977 Early Bronco is our solution to fixing the rough ride associated with the rear of these Broncos. This Kit comes with everything you need to improve the ride quality and off-road capability of your Early Bronco.
We took the time to combine our Performance Leaf Spring Kit, Early Bronco Rear Shock Mount, and the King Shocks of your choice in an easy and all-inclusive package!
You spoke and we listened, we are now offering two options for lift. Pick between 2.5″ or 3.5″ of lift in the rear.
The factory location leaf springs are a major issue when it comes to poor ride quality on the Early Broncos. We’ve worked with Deaver Spring to come up with our F66, a new set of leaf springs that gives an amazing ride. Our new leaf springs are longer than stock which allows for more wheel travel. We’ve tested numerous prototypes to finalize a spring rate that not only feels great in the dirt but also won’t knock your teeth loose going over speed bumps. Our F66 Leaf Springs are 2.5″ wide and are a 10 leaf pack.
To make the leaf springs work, we’ve designed new Front and Rear Leaf Spring Hangers and Extended Shackles. The front and rear hangers relocate to a new position on the frame and locates to a factory hole. This combination of hangers, shackles, and leaf springs will get you around 16″ of wheel travel. The hangers and shackles are created from a combination of laser cut and CNC bent MIG welded 3/16″ and 1/8″ steel plate. Welding is required to install the leaf spring hangers.
We designed our Early Bronco Rear Shock Mount to be tucked up to the body as close a possible. This allows you to fit up to a 3.0×12″ Bypass or Smooth Body shock. These Shock Mounts are created from a combination of laser cut 1/4″, 3/16″ and 1/8″ steel plate. We’ve combined both MIG and TIG welding in order to speed the building process and still retain a unique look. The main cross tube is 1.75″ x.188 wall DOM, already has the upper shock mounts welded to it, and utilizes an inline tube clamp for ease of installation. The only welding you have to do to install our Early Bronco Rear Shock Mount is weld the side plates to the frame and lower shock tabs to the axle housing.
