Description
Rebuild and Upgrade Your Toyota Steering Rack
Larger tires put additional demand on your Toyota’s power steering system. As the factory rack and pinion ages, worn seals and reduced performance can lead to leaks, poor steering feel, and difficulty turning oversized off-road tires.
Our Toyota High-Pressure Steering Rack Rebuild Service doesn’t just reseal your existing steering rack—we rebuild and modify it for demanding off-road applications.
Built for Larger Tires and Off-Road Use
During the rebuild, we replace the factory seals with high-quality Viton seals selected for their resistance to heat, chemicals, and wear.
We also modify the rack and pinion to increase line pressure, providing additional steering assist for Toyota trucks and SUVs running larger, heavier off-road tires.
This service allows you to retain your Toyota steering rack while having it professionally rebuilt and upgraded rather than replacing it with an unknown aftermarket unit.
Simply remove your rack and pinion and ship it to Solo Motorsports. Average turnaround time is approximately one week after we receive your rack, depending on its condition and current workload.
Rebuild pricing starts at $400. Racks with damaged housings, internal shafts, or other components may require additional repairs. If we find damage that changes the rebuild price, we will contact you before proceeding with the additional work.
For customers who depend on their Toyota off-road, this service addresses the steering system where larger tires place some of the greatest demand.
