If you have ever needed more cargo space or a place to attach something to your vehicle that doesn’t need to be inside, our Spare Tire Utility Platform made for you.
The mount is made from 1/8″ 5052 aluminum and is super lightweight. The Spare Tire Mount fits most 33″ to 37″ tires. We also incorporated Molle Panels on both sides of the rack for additional mounting options.
This Utility Platform is securely mounted to the tire with 2 ratchet tie-down straps that run laterally through the wheel for maximum stability. This rack is lightweight and easy to remove when its not needed. and works great to carry a small to medium sized ice chest, as well as mounting the antenna for the Starlink system.
The Spare Tire Utility Platform may have some movement while driving. This is normal since it’s mounted to a rubber surface. The tire pressure and the firmness of the rubber play a role in how much movement can be expected.
This shelf can to handle weights up to 100lbs. However, this is highly dependent on the mounting method for your spare tire. To achieve maximum weight capability, it is important that your tire be mounted to a ridged swing out tire carrier (not directly to the tailgate).
