The solution everyone has been looking for! We are offering a Big Brake Kit for the 1980-1996 Ford Bronco and F-150. This Big Brake Kit is the same kit that we use on our NORRA race truck. We put 2000 race miles on this kit and works flawlessly! This is not your average brake upgrade, this is designed for Race or serious Prerunner applications.
Key Features:
- Wilwood Grand National GN6R 6 Piston Radial Mount Calipers. Made from a High-strength forged aluminum body in a Type III hard-anodized finish. The GN6R Calipers are designed to be very rigid and do not flex compared to the smaller Wilwood Superlite Calipers.
- Wilwood GT 48 Curved Vane Spec-37 rotors are manufactured from a proprietary iron alloy developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking, and wear. The formulation for this alloy is a derivative of technology and materials that are significant in the development of the extreme duty military spec rotors. 13″ vented rotors by 1.38″ thick. The Rotors are a 2 piece bolt-on design. Meaning to remove the Rotor you unbolt it from the Wilwood hub adapter, this allows for easy maintenance. You are not required to press out any wheel studs like the factory style rotor. This design preserves the longevity of the hub and wheel studs.
- Wilwood rotor adapter and brake caliper adapter makes this kit a 100% bolt-on, no welding required.
Spec Requirements
- Wheel Requirement: 17″ wheel minimum
- Remove/cutting off the factory brake mounts on the knuckle.
- Stock wheel studs or 5/8th wheel studs can be used with this kit.

Optional:
- Driver/Pass Modified Knuckles $400.Modifying the knuckles are easy enough for a DIY’er with a angle grinder and cut off wheel. Or a local fab shop can do the work very easily. If you would like us to do the modification, you can ship us your knuckles and we can do the work. We can send a shipping label to make the process hassle free. (you will need to provide us box dimensions).
